My topic is African Americans and Obesity.The Culture and Health Project will have a series of assignments that will end with the creation of two parts. The first part of the assignment will be the creation of a Power Point assignment with no less than five slides: excluding cover and reference slides. The power point assignment must be created as a ppt., pttx., ppts., or any other power point (there are no exceptions). CCP does not use Google mail, so please do not turn your work in attached to google. Instead create a power point presentation that can be reviewed without a google account. Students who turn in Google slides, jpgs, media, or any other form of presentation will receive a 0 for the assignment. For the first half of the assignment, (one-to-two-page paper) you’re required to complete research on a public health problem that has a negative impact on a specific culture. Ex: Black women and High Mortality Rates. The paper must be written using APA format; please click on the link below to review a sample paper using APA formatting. You will use your paper to provide an in depth understanding of the issue and or health problem discussed. The paper will include at least five paragraphs which will reflect the content covered on your power point slides. The first paragraph should be an introduction of your topic.Ex: First slide will introduce your topic and the first paragraph of your paper will be an introduction of your topic. Your last paragraph of the paper should be a summary of your research findings. The last slide of your power point should include your references.The second half of the assignment will require a five-slide power point (not including cover slide and reference slide(s)) highlighting the details of your research; see sample slides below. The power point should be used as a reference to your paper highlighting the topics that will be discussed in your paper.
